Across Pennsylvania, people face barriers to accessing the legal system due to language gaps, disability access, lack of transportation, and the basic cost of legal help. Civil legal aid levels the playing field and makes justice accessible for all.
Civil legal aid prevents crises before they escalate—keeping families housed, protecting survivors, and helping seniors and veterans remain financially independent. That means fewer public costs for emergency shelter and services—and stronger, more stable communities.
