Roblox also preventing people from protesting at the event is also just shitty. Bht besides that, there is no way that this event wasn't rigged. Only the biggest 5 games got awards, while a lot of smaller (and way better) games like blocktales didn't even get mentioned. This sucks.

now that RDC is over, I'm going to say my oppinion on it as a game developer. I understand that not everyone wins, but that does 't mean you have to make some of the laziest slop games ever the awards. Only a few games actualy deserved it, but 90% are just slop.

Grow a garden was created in march this year, and has over 20 BILLION total visits. RUINED was created in october of 2024, and only has 1K. These games are sloppily made, without any real care, yet they achieve world records. If you actualy try to make a game fun, it flops. This has to change.

I cannot believe that "Grow a garden" and "Steal a brainrot" are the 1st and 2nd biggest games in history now. Over 20 million active players due to a lackluster event, while other developers (like me) pour their souls into their own games and struggle to achieve 1000 total visits within a year.
