Stars forward Matt Duchene is on the ice for today’s morning skate ahead of tonight’s game vs. Vancouver.

Duchene left early in the third period of Tuesday’s game after being on the receiving end of a big open ice hit by Minnesota’s Jake Middleton and did not return.

It got a little nervy in the third period, but the Stars pulled away late, beating the Minnesota Wild 5-2 and improving to a perfect 3-0-0 to start the season.

• Jake Oettinger starts in goal vs. #mnwild.

• Alexander Petrovic will make his season debut, replacing Ilya Lyubushkin. Gulutzan made a point to say the change is only to get Petrovic in, nothing negative about Lyubushkin.
