i'm also not a fan of when authors build up for something cool (like Demerzel potentially revealing more of her story, being free, connecting with a robot) but just killing everyone off in the finale 😭 & Gaal's final interactions with Pilou's character was anti-climactic for me... a bit of a letdown

i guess for me i'm curious why the author chose the Bayta "surprise" for the story line 😮‍💨 i enjoyed Pilou Asbæk's acting and wouldve preferred the story unfolding with him as the mule

a potential robot uprising is probably the most exciting prospect to come out of the finale tbh and i could see a possible demerzel resurgence because they didn't show her head melt completely 👀🤣 my least favorite part was all the Gaal adventures. Bayta being the Mule i don't really understand

demerzel has me conflicted she's a very complex character
i loved the lighting + camera work during her monologue
& i yearn for an uncovering of her "true nature"... but she's always going to be forced into her programming
