hi guys

i’m not one to ask for help but with the whole food stamp situation happening.. well here we are

basically i promised my son a bluey room makeover as his combined birthday + christmas gift (bc his bday is late nov)

if i’m not gonna have food stamps that is gonna make it extremely hard

in summation-

i think they are just a really good family. they clearly heavily compensate the kids and their time online doesn’t seem forced at all. i’ve never noticed a bias towards the bio kids, everyone seems to be treated equitably. they genuinely just seem like a massive, loving family.

i feel like it’s usually well intentioned and the whole family genuinely seems like good people. there is one kid who is very clearly “flamboyant” and they seem to love and embrace that as well so like? idk i feel like their mormonism is a non-issue and people just hate mormons lmfao

i feel like people just hate mormons rn tbh bc benson boone catches strays for it, too.

as someone raised in religion with religious trauma, i do not agree with raising your kids in your chosen religion and stripping them of that choice.. BUT i don’t think that’s inherently bad?

2. they monetize their children

yes, that’s a moral grey area.. but they are all very clearly compensated for their contributions to the channel and the kids seem very enthusiastic about being online. some of the older kids aren’t online much and it doesn’t seem that they are pushed to do so.

sure that’s extremely excessive, but they CLEARLY have the means to support that many kids. it also seems like the foster-adopted children do have the opportunity to continue relationships with their birth parents if they choose to do so.
