We are moving to a new website platform this Thursday! The new website looks a lot like our current website but will be faster, have improved security, and expanded browsing options.

Banned Book Author @mikecurato.bsky.social shared his life story and his work to a captivated audience as part of Arlington Public Library's Celebrate the Freedom to Read program. A powerful (and funny), heart-felt, and honest discussion and which brought some of us to tears. Thank you, Mike!
Proceeds from our "Queer Books Save Lives" sticker go towards Rainbows & Reflections, an organization that is working to get LGTQIA+ books into the hands of the youth that need it most. They are available at the register.
It's #NationalComingOutDay! Cheers to being the most authentic version of ourselves. Let's continue to fight for the safety of our queer community so that everyone has a chance to live loudly and proudly.
Read them, check them out from your library, buy them, support teachers who use them, and vote against the people behind banning them.

Here we go again. Did you know that #BannedBooksWeek was created in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of book challenges in libraries, schools, and bookstores. Here we are 40 years later and it feels much worse.
