Here was the introduction post from the first year I did Pal-o-Ween, 2021. I made 10 in 2021 and 10 in 2022. They were fun to make! I wish I still had that kind of artistic free time but I've filled my plate with too many projects, lol.

This looks nice, I think it's immediately recognizable that the objects are bobbing on the surface of the water. as others have suggested, I would maybe try adding small, subtle ripples for a second or so after the objects hit the water.
