Feels weird rewatching the second half of S1 with zero recollection of watching it the first time. But now I finally remember the context for much of what's in the second and third movies. Like the nopan girl in the idol group, what doka-chan's problem was in S1, and how Original Kaede returned.

By the end of it, I realized I have forgotten a lot of what happened in S1 mostly because I was too busy regarding the first movie as a standalone masterpiece, much like how I have almost zero recollection of the TV seasons of Haruhi because I have probably rewatched Disappearance 100 times by now.

Let's make this clear: if you claim to be leftist, pro-LGBT, pro other minorities etc, then you MUST stand up for freedom of artistic expression, which means defending the right for legal but icky art to exist. The very first reference to the event which I came across was this tweet embed on discord with no timestamp on the quoted tweet so when I found the video 5mins later I legit thought those were just hidden jugs of fake blood that he smashed on himself since I thought his tweet was sent after that.
