Outrage fatigue and learned helplessness. College kids remember marching for our lives (gun control), the women's march, and the BLM marches. None of these resulted in positive changes, in fact most of these issues have gotten worse. They've given up on caring since it didn't work.

Can you clarify why the Israelis are being designated at hostages and the Palestinians are being designated as prisoners? I understand 22 of the 1900 Palestinians being released are children, so it doesn't make sense.

Cool, but neither of those vaccines provide sterilizing immunity or reliable prevention of transmission, so it's still best to be vaxed, masked in a well fitted respirator, in areas that are well ventilated and/or filtered, stay home if you're sick, and then relaxed.
