The fact that Jace and Liliana of 2009 genuinely feel like younger versions of Jace and Liliana of 2025 is such a testament to the care the story teams put into the world. Despite being over a decade old, this book manages to feel like a precursor to the current Reality Fracture arc.

Tbh i figured the Omenpaths of Kaldheim and the Omenpaths of the Multiverse were made with different fabric, but if Tyvar just shows up, sparkless and shirtless, to Strixhaven through an Omenpath he opened, I'd be hyped.

The economics of books aren't quite the same as the economics of card sets. They cost less, but involve more dedicated work by one person, which means that in most cases, they take longer. A book represents a major leap of faith for a franchise like Magic.
