I should really learn how to plan a piece out. 10 1/2 hours, mostly trying to figure things out. I drew this ages ago when I first saw Turning Red. The whole story resonated with me, the stress of being a child with so much expected of them, the mother/daughter relationship for both Mei/her mother/her grandmother... I just sobbed for days after seeing it #fanart #turningred

I'm calling it quits on the drawing challenge for several reasons. I'm always behind on it because I'll see a prompt I don't want to do and then I'll procrastinate and everything falls apart.

So I'm leaving that behind to work on pieces I'll actually love.
