Yeah it’s so strange, I think there’s a nostalgia there. Like people love curling up with a roaring fire in the background.

For me it just made no sense when you have an ASHP, it’s just a stable temp, so why would I want to cook in the living room more?

When we renovated our house. Two questions that kept coming up from friends and neighbours. Why are you ripping out the gas/Will you have a gas hob? And are you going to put in a log burner?

I’m so glad we saw sense and put in ASHP and induction.

I googled his name to see whether he was still a post-doc in the Netherlands.

Turns out he died suddenly in December last year. 😭

A fellow PhD student I was friends with during my time at Cambridge was from India. He always said ‘you should go to India. You’ll love it there’.

We sadly lost touch a while back, but I messaged him today to say ‘I’m in India, enjoying the sites and sounds’.

It went undelivered.

There are many many other ways the chancellor could raise tax revenue in a fairer manner. But she won’t. Because Labour have no vision, no long term plan, no desire to make radical change but instead just tinker round the edges and are scared of the press.

Solar has been shown to massively increase biodiversity compared to monocultural farming.

Oh & they can also graze sheep under it? Or grow wildflowers to benefit farmers
