Maybe we should spend less time worrying about the causes and cures of autism and more time figuring out how to support autistic folks (& all disabled ppl) so they/we can live happy, healthy, safe and loved lives. Put money towards care not cures.
As a @washingtonspirit.com fan, I’d love to see the team boycott the upcoming CONCACAF match in San Salvador over Trump admin’s brutal use of the inhumane CECOT penitentiary. We are sending immigrants to a Salvadoran megaprison that violates international law. Maybe we shouldn’t play soccer there.
Dear Sec. Kennedy: This year I paid the IRS 22% of my wages. I made a podcast for The Atlantic, baseball sucks, poetry is best left to poets & I have a partner of 7 years. I am so good at using the toilet on my own, I often clog it right up. Not knowing I was autistic is what destroyed me.
I think what this country really needs is a Baby Jessica stuck in a well type event to bring us all together.

The good folks at @kickstarter.com named Race To The Top Of The World one of their "Projects We Love." I'm nearly at 50% of my goal. Can you help me pass the halfway mark? Thanks! #projectswelove www.kickstarter.com/projects/obe...

A narrative podcast about what happens when the influencer economy, adventure tourism and climate change collide in the high Himalayas.

Hey friends! I'm trying something new — I'm doing a Kickstarter to fund my new narrative podcast. I'd love your support. It's a rough time for all of us, but donating to my new show could be cheaper than a carton of eggs or a gallon of gas. Any support would be so appreciated! Thank you!

I'm working on a new podcast project and I'm launching a Kickstarter next week to fund it. I hope you'll consider supporting it. And by "consider" I mean open up your wallet and give me all the cash that you were going to use to buy one carton of eggs. Thanks!

This week's episode of Radio Atlantic from @theatlantic.com debunks the podcast The Telepathy Tapes and it's pseudoscientific claims about non-speaking autistic children. Very worth a listen! www.theatlantic.com/podcasts/arc...

Don’t fall for The Telepathy Tapes.

So we can’t send food aid to Sudan because that’s a bad use of U.S. taxpayer money, but somehow $4bil worth U.S. taxpayer-funded weapons to Israel is benefitting us? How?
This is what being a woman in media is like.
I cannot believe that the person who made that pseudoscience nonsense podcast The Telepathy Tapes went on Joe Rogan spouting her magical ESP autist garbage. Except I guess I can because like attracts like.
Damn, I wish I wasn’t so stupid. Then I would be able to understanding why dunking on me - a freelancer who makes excellent longform narrative podcasts and does not work for anyone - is something anyone would care about or be interested in.
I have no idea what this means. But ok
No. My producers at The Atlantic.

"When the jury summons for federal criminal court arrived in my mailbox in November 2023, I knew I had to answer it," @oberandout.bsky.social writes.

"I had to answer this one because in my gut I knew it wasn’t going to be just any old criminal case."
Opinion | I was a Jan. 6 juror. What I learned surprised me.
Trump’s pardons of virtually all of the Jan. 6 rioters left me dejected. Am I safe?

We had dozens of hours of recordings and two amazing producers who listened to all of them! And we let the tape guide the writing. It’s a sort of alchemy I can’t really explain! Thanks for reading!
