The current government cannot be clearer that they hate their constituents and they hate democracy.

Yet National are going to continue supporting it.

My analysis: The Government’s methane announcement is the policy equivalent of a steaming cowpat on cross-partisan climate consensus and international efforts to tackle the crisis.

The headline effect of a new, weaker climate target is a warmer, more dangerous world.

Luxon trying very hard (and predictably failing) to claim that unions representing the interests of their members is “playing politics”. When you’re left with no option, industrial action is simply negotiation by other means, to paraphrase Clausewitz.

Imagine running a country and thinking unions and workers are different things

What a fucking ignoramus
Luxon told Morning Report the disruption is a shame and he believes workers want to reach a pay deal.
"It's a shame, really. I think people are getting sick of unions prioritising the politics over patients, or kids in education and parents being mucked around," he said.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

I’m sick of RW govts trying to separate “the unions” from their members.

“The unions” can’t take strike actions without balloting members. “The unions” aren’t forcing members to strike; they can’t. Members are voting to strike, because of shite offers from this govt.

Lots of people don't understand that many benefits they enjoy are purely because of Unions

Whenever people ask me what Unions do at work (I'm a delegate, so this happens A LOT), I send them this rather than try and explain it

No Christopher Luxon, people are getting sick of YOU prioritising your fiscal policies on your already wealthy mates, rather than on healthcare and education.
