Could've been me...except I have a broken ankle at the moment. Even though it's not illegal to be naked in public in NZ unfortunately it still frightens the horses.

On Monday thought it was just a sprain but Wed swelling hadn’t gone down so off to a&e and yep broken so now I’m in a cast for 6 weeks. Who knew hopping was so hard. Even with a zimmer! Oh well lots of football and GP to watch 😀

After having fun as Dick Whittington, the day was so lovely a mountain deserved to be climbed. Without Irony it's called Coopers Knob & its the crater rim of the volcano that made Lyttelton Harbour. I rue'd the climb cos on the way down I broke my ankle in 2 places and still drove home.

I'm surprised I could smile in this selfie as I had just broken my ankle in 2 places (I didn't know that then) I lost my footing on some wet lichen and my ankle went over both ways and twisted my knee.

Discretion being the better part of valour I dressed then as a) I was in pain and b) I could hear voices climbing the mountain.

I hobbled 30mins back to the car and drove home for the day. 2 days later it was still very swollen and so I had my ankle X rayed and now I'm in a plaster cast for 6 weeks. Doh!

After the cool off in the stream I cosplayed naturist Dick Whittington on a quiet country road. You'll notice our roads are often quite straight. I was trying to demonstrate the perspective vanishing point without vanishing.

First stop check the highway is safe to access. Yep no vehicles about, not even a tractor.

What better than a freshwater dip to was off the sand and grit.
I'd been on the beach and it was very gritty. The sea was too rough to swim in and there are plenty of rips along this coast.

A huge storm came through and we suddenly acquired a waterfall which carried on down the garden and caused the sink hole. I've put some drainage pipe down and now we have to fill it with clean stone and the soil on top to repair the damage.
