Several unidentified drones appeared as Dutch troops took part in a NATO training exercise in Poland.

The incident coincided with communication disruptions among the troops and Dutch media report that cars with Belarusian plates were seen nearby shortly before.

Ukraine has approved further exhumations of Poles massacred by Ukrainian nationalists in WWII.

It is the second time this year that Kyiv has granted permission for exhumations, which were banned until a recent diplomatic breakthrough with Poland.

A new exhibition on “Ten Centuries of Polish Russophobia” has opened in Moscow, organised by a state historical society.

The display presents the Kremlin's revisionist view of history, including downplaying Soviet responsibility for the Katyn massacre.

An abandoned communist-era hotel in Kraków - which was one of Poland's most luxurious when it opened in 1988 - has been added to the register of protected monuments.

The decision has been criticised by the current owners of the building, who say it will hinder plans to redevelop the area.

Łodź has become the latest Polish city to introduce a nighttime ban on alcohol sales in shops, in an effort to prevent antisocial behaviour and protect public health.

Poland’s interior ministry has proposed tougher rules for obtaining Polish citizenship.

They would increase the residency period from three to eight years and require applicants to take a test proving they are integrated and sign a declaration of loyalty.

Poland's third-largest city, Wrocław, has today introduced a citywide ban on nighttime alcohol sales.

Shops and petrol stations are now prohibited from selling alcohol between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., although it can still be purchased in restaurants and bars.
