Not as much dumb as being isolated and uneducated. Unwilling to question or learn.
Superficially, it could make sense. Federal laws alone are quite limited, not dealing very much with transportation, housing or taxation.
To make it make sense, you have to ignore passages about state/provincial law

Highway driving in BC is traumatic. Alberta was a close second. There it was raccoons and skunks. Had a friend hit by a deer - through the windshield nearly gored him.

Does "journalist" mean anything anymore?!
I grew up believing a journalist stuck their neck out in pursuit of not just a "scoop",but truth and justice.
The megacorps can't be totally blamed. If a journalist was actually a journalist, they'd risk all to maintain their morals and keep conscience clean

I once was on the trans-canada highway, and hit a mother goose and a dozen+ babies. Had no choice, her or my own demise.
I knew I had to, still debated going to bicycle and full-time hippie. It was awful.

Seeing as it likely crossed to humans in an exotic seafood market in Wuhan, that's where you'd research it.
There's zero indication it was a human altered virus. Not created in a lab. Not a Chinese plot.
Another good reason humans should stop eating bats and other exotic animals though.

One of the essential things that separated good people from the others is caring about and protecting people and ideals that you hold no skin in.
It's easy enough to stand up and fight for what you claim as your own, but it takes a real man (or woman) to put it all on the line for strangers.

Governments selling off key, essential services has been pissing me off since the 1980s. Keeping core infrastructure out of the greasy corporate hands is the most important thing. Always has been. After the US overthrows the king wannabe, should be one of the first major tasks. Get it back.

The two have some very strong Venn diagram crossovers, for sure. As a teen I would have likely been misdiagnosed.
It's not a popular take, but if I was given the chance to remove my ADHD, I would. Sure, I'd no longer technically be me, but I'd no longer be having the neurosis,memory loss/loops, etc.
