So, uh, I am now going to stop applying to fed jobs - but might as well reshare this anyway. Open to any leads on work! VERY HAPPY to relocate! Won't use this resume format, obviously.

Will drop donation links below too, because after 5+ I know nobody has work for me - but I do still need to eat.
This resume format is used for US federal jobs; it's not the format I'd use for a private-sector role. However, it *is* highly detailed (understatement), so it's at least a good overview of all my relevant skills and experience.

I’m p sure it doesn’t anymore. Its last post was 11 months ago.

You can tag the hashtag #Alt4Me, but that’s human volunteers so requires some patience.

On this note, I am open to donations again. It's not *urgent*, per se, in that I'm not broke yet - but this was nearly $300 I hadn't budgeted and there will be additional costs associated with it (food out, etc.).

I’ve booked a round-trip Amtrak to the interview. Cheapest trip
I could get was $270: 23 hours out, 29 hours return. Will be a hellish three days.

Will be worth it if I get the job though.

So I know I said I probably wouldn't post this more BUT, with it being pushed back to JANUARY, we might be able to raise a bit extra, which can go towards groceries and the like c:
Hey so, I'm gonna be getting a root canal in a bit over a month, and I'm unable to actually afford the cost of it (Which I'm not even sure of what that is going to be, but baseline it is ~$500.) So, I'm taking ko-fi donations. I can't offer much but, any little bit helps a ton ;;

For anyone unawares, Alaska is suffering tragedy right now. Typhoon Halong has ravaged communities on Alaska's western coast, displacing hundreds and causing infrastructure damage to some of Alaska's most vulnerable populations.

Please consider helping Alaska. Thank you 💗🐳

Reposting with alt text since this is going around again!
Two panel comic in black and white. In the first panel, a bunny sits in the grass, surrounded by sparkles and flowers, on a white background. The second panel zooms in on the bunny's face and the background is black, with white text handwritten in all caps on it: "TOUCHING GRASS ISN'T ENOUGH, I NEED MONEY"

Signature: SLEEPIMALI (and the year the comic was made, 2023)
Other leads on work or housing are also welcomed, of course! No guarantees this job is going to offer, after all.
It still looks likely I'm going to lose housing at the end of November, and I don't want to be penniless when that happens. (I'm pursuing leads, but nothing has borne fruit.)

Job is good, though. Right up my alley in terms of duties, and bottom of the pay scale is $52k/yr—which is nearly $10k more than any other non-federal job for which I’ve ever been offered an interview.
Got an interview scheduled for a job. Interview is on October 29, two weeks from today. Interview was offered in-person-only, at a location 750 miles from where I’m currently staying.
The difference between socioling and linguistic anthropology: internal vs external.

(Yes, this is oversimplified. I know. Don’t crucify me.)
I know where this is. There’s a college in that town, because apparently irony is dead. I actually applied for several jobs there not too long ago!
Friendly reminder that I have around 6 weeks before I no longer have a roof over my head. This is urgent!

I'm chasing up leads of my own, but so far nothing has borne fruit.
THEREFORE, I am now more urgently than ever seeking leads on work and safe, stable housing. Happy to relocate!

I've been among the final interviews for 4 jobs this month so far and not been hired for a single one.

Even a freaking temp job for transfer windows 10 to 11 for a multi elderly care business, I lost to a cheaper kid even though the temp agency was the one who came up with how much we should cost
Thing about the latter (and I know I’m not saying anything you or most other readers don’t already know) is, it’s so often a case where the writer has a firm idea what they’re going to write before they even start seeking scholarship on the matter. :/
Oh gods I was having this exact issue just the other day. Had to ask my FC, lol.

Okay, this has to be the most adorable, uplifting quest I've done in a while. (I did just finish ShB, after all.)

Gods, this is so relatable. This is how *I* think, irl.

#Alt4Me, if one of you has OCR, mind grabbing the full text? I can't OCR on PC.

oooh, I've got that unlocked at last.

Might need to seek a static at last, or at least a group of people who do high-end content on the regular. I was hoping my IRL would settle a smidge more before I began seeking that, but I don't really want to miss out on Hollows if I can avoid it.

Ugh, and there were like two hours of credit and cutscenes after the fight too. And I kind of skipped over a lot of them; I’m going to have to go back and rewatch them later. For now, though, I’m gonna try and sleep a bit.
