Star Trek tos was truly just like shoving ocs into batshit random scenarios on a budget of 14 dollars. It started tropes like “character has an evil twin now” and “they find a pet and it eats so much and it multiplies

TOS started so many common plot tropes. Had major cultural significance. A lot of modern fandom originated from Star Treks. They also had a plot where Abraham Lincoln fights Genghis Khan. One of the best episodes is the one where Spock goes into heat and has to fuck his wife at home like a salmon
