comparing small, socialist countries that evolved from benevolent monarchies to a massive country born from violent revolution and conclude with “look at us, why not you” serves little purpose.

To be more accurate - randomness and chaos.

But that (and time) built our planet and all the life on it. Life wouldn’t exist without it.

Zen would say don’t try to control and accept that there are causes beyond our perception.

We can work to do better. Just don’t invest in the results.

If the trillions poured into the Middle East didn’t work in the past, why would anybody think it is going to work next time?

2.3 trillion spent on Afghanistan alone (to flip it to a democracy) and the people there are worse off than before we showed up.

The USA has sent billions in aid to the Palestinians over many years.

Trump won PA because 70-75% of MAGA showed up to vote. While the progressives and liberals and moderates beat each other up.

LA metro area has twice the population of Denmark. And Denmark is 82% white. So not a lot of diversity in culture. They’ve also adopted a zero immigration policy.

Demark has far less ethnic diversity than the USA and 1/2 the population of the LA metro area. And no state governments.

The young progressives need to drop this “reactionary” and “maga liberals” name calling bullshit and actually do something useful.

The 50-70 year olds who do all the work to get Dems on the local, state, and national ballots and run campaigns are ready to walk.
