There's a reason they hid their platforms until the last possible minute.

Empty promises with no four year costing.

You deserve a better deal.

Seven months ago, the Liberals said cutting the HST from home heating couldn’t be done.

They blocked you from saving money — just so they could campaign on it later.

If I’d known it would take an election for them to act, I would’ve called for one every week.

Thank you to Yvette Coffey and the team at @rnunl.bsky.social for having me on the Scrubbing In and Speaking Out podcast to discuss the NDP’s position on issues directly impacting their members and truly all healthcare workers.

We are proud of you!!!!

Home heating in the winter isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.

That’s why we’ll remove the HST off of all home heating – electricity, propane, oil, and wood – immediately saving households 10% on their bills.

Incredible show of solidarity and support for postal workers today.

These workers are defending a vital public service and the right to fair collective bargaining for all. @cupwsttp.bsky.social

Art = Work. That is something that New Democrats fundamentally believe.

That's why today, candidate Sheilagh O'Leary announced that an NDP government would make the Year of the Arts funding the new permanent amount for Arts NL grants, adding $2.7 million for artists.

I had an excellent time out canvassing in Arnold's Cove with our candidate for Placentia West-Bellevue Jasmine Paul. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak to us. I know that Jasmine will be a strong voice for the people of this district.

Owning your own home shouldn't be an unreachable dream.

That's why the Newfoundland and Labrador NDP are committed to getting a better deal for first time home buyers.

We are committed to phasing out for-profit shelters in this province, because caring for our most vulnerable must be the priority, not making a profit off them.

It's time we truly invest in our non-profits, groups on the ground already doing the incredible work people in this province need.

Education for all.

Thank you MUNSU, MUNFA, CFS, and all involved in today's march to bring back the tuition freeze.

Memorial University, the students, faculty, and workers, are our future. It's time for a government that recognizes that, not with words, but with actions.

That is why we are committed to bringing in legislation, similar to Nova Scotia, that would allow for couples to be placed together. If one moves into a care facility first, the other has priority to be placed in the same home once they require care. 2/2

For too long we have heard heartbreaking stories of senior couples being separated when entering long-term care.

Well, the NL NDP is ready to change this. 1/2

While we reflect today, we recognize all levels of government still have work to do to ensure that Indigenous peoples in our province have the resources they deserve. 4/4

True reconciliation must be a priority. This means ensuring Indigenous communities in our province have adequate housing, access to healthcare, and access to affordable food. 3/4

We acknowledge intergenerational trauma and the long process of healing, and we honour Survivors, their families, and their communities. We also celebrate Indigenous culture, arts, and raise Indigenous voices. 2/4

September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today is a day to reflect on the history of residential schools in this country and in our province. 1/4

As the dream of homeownership becomes more and more out of reach for first time homebuyers, NL NDP Leader Jim Dinn pledged to help by doubling the provincial first time home buyer’s incentive.

This would mean that the program would grow from $1500 to $3000. 🧡
