Next time an institution tells you how seriously it takes research misconduct, ask them if it's *this* seriously. www.bmj.com/content/297/...
In 1916 the BMJ published an article about the work done by James Shearer, an American physician working in the British Army as a sergeant (because he had no British qualification). He had described a
"delineator" which was better than x rays for portraying gunshot wounds. This caused a sensation and a lot of interest — but on investigation the work was found to have been invented. The BMJ published a retraction, but Shearer was tried by court martial and sentenced to death by firing squad.

BTW - I am "first gen" by this definition, but my grandfather was a failed doctoral student and therefore a failed academic. I think I went into this business to correct that!

Oh I wondered if it was Turner, but it seemed too naive. He knew how to paint ships and skies!

That's a lovely reflection Rolf! But what's the image? Can't place the artist!

Oh no - are they taking this away from us? I was excited about the idea of it being still out there!

#TMS users, this needs your attention!

EMG data are often collected in TMS experiments. BIDS can help us to annotate and share that data.

Take a look!

I feel that body organs should be hot-swappable, like computer devices. Just pop to John Lewis for a new liver or lung (promotion: free spleen with every major organ!). Wishing you well x

I saw @behrenstimb.bsky.social talk about this work at @bacn.co.uk a couple of weeks ago, and it blew my mind. Absolutely lovely work.

I’m super excited to finally put my recent work with @behrenstimb.bsky.social on bioRxiv, where we develop a new mechanistic theory of how PFC structures adaptive behaviour using attractor dynamics in space and time!

Hey Janet! I'm not sure what EPR is, but if you tag me or #neuroskyence in anything related to scanning squishy things like brains, I'd be happy to repost!
