Called my daughter, and we formed a plan to clearly and with joy in our hearts plan a creative Christmas with our wallets closed. It’s hard because we’re so ingrained to “purchase” Christmas as though it’s an obligation. I’m the matriarch and so I led the way. It’s a moral stance and I said so.
