https://www.nightsandknights.games/ Nights & Knights Games is the joint effort of two eccentric nerds living in central Massachusetts. When we’re not designing or playing games, we’re tending our pollinator garden or watching TV with our talkative cat.

Nights & Knights Games is a new independent gaming studio working on a number of projects. TTRPGs across multiple genres and game systems, here is what we've got upcoming. Many irons in the fire, some still biding their time.
Serious 9 vibes, if you remember that movie.
Our new horror game is only $1 on this, the spookiest day! A lightweight, teamwork-focused board game with optional roleplay, This Clawing Darkness can be a gory 15 minutes or an evening of terror.

"They crawled out of the world's guts, and every night ate any flesh they could find. They fled from armies, hid from light. We could only beat them by facing them in darkness."

Getting some good 90s Maxis vibes over here.
Big 60s pulp sci-fi energy!

(in a good way)
Okay but I can see one of those fancy gyms offering Bananas Loco/Mixed Ladders as a smoothie flavor.

Unfortunately. 😅
Worldbuildy shower thoughts: What if Baba Yaga's chicken-legged walking house is a special domesticated breed of mimic?

As always, the best way to get good at any creative endeavour is just to do it. You might feel silly and your first works probably won't be masterpieces, but just starting is half the work right there. ☺️

Sounds odd and silly, but it's actually worked pretty well for me! And doing this kind of thing is like doing stretches for creating. You can make a notebook of cool and crazy gadgets/artifacts and then have a selection to grab when you need one for your setting.
Terracotta statues that you smear with chia seed goop to grow 'fur/hair' on them! How about an emergency microterraforming lumpy gel that you spread on a solid surface and just add water to produce some kinda fungus-and-plant hybrid growth that you can eat for complete (if tasteless) nutrition?
Worldbuiding ideas, practice round!

I like to watch 90s infomercials to come up with game items. Super absorbent microfiber towels? How about a cloth embroidered with sigils of sympathetic magic and elemental water that can absorb 1d4 liters of water a round for 1d6 rounds?
The difference between cold-calling and networking.
If it's good enough for Edgar Allen Poe, Tales from the Crypt-Keeper, Robert W. Chambers, and Chuck Jones, it's good enough for me! It's a classic for a reason.
Show me on the dolly where the pah-wraith touched you.
The second, even better if it's not a mask at all.
This is how you get cryptids, you know. Like, new ones.
It is always better to do a thing, to even try to make a thing, than to just sit and dream without doing. I'm convinced this is one of those big secrets or life or whatever.
Well, the whole point of experiencing or doing art is to feel some feelings or make others feel feelings, even all the way back when we were smearing charcoal on cave walls.
Has he considered a nice bouquet, or perhaps a well-written sonnet?
And technically correct is the best kind of correct.
