BRING HER BACK is one dark, messed up movie! I'd say it's even darker than the directors' previous one, TALK TO ME. The story is harrowing, and the cast is phenomenal. (1/2)

Another book-promotion scam that's barely trying, but at least they included my name this time. The rest of the email is an insane jumble of bad grammar, malapropisms, and apostrophes in plural words. I'm intrigued by their promise to help authors with "attractive readers," though!

I missed this anthology series when it first aired because I was already in college, but I've heard it mentioned several times in recent years. I suspect its late-80s cheesiness may not hit the same now, but I'm interested in checking it out on Tubi.

I don't know if there'll be a Season 3, since this season didn't make a big splash and both Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers are in big demand, but if there is, I hope it's better than this one. (4/4)

One of the season's biggest problems is the jumble it makes when it tries to tie together its (way too many) plot lines.Most indicative of this is what they do with the new Nevermore principal, but also how quickly the evil birds plot line is dropped and forgotten in favor of other plot lines. Increasing the presence of the rest of the family didn't help matters. Pugsley was an annoyance, and they have absolutely no idea what to do with Gomez so they make him act like an idiot. Not coincidentally, these are also the only two main characters without arcs. They don't change or grow. (2/4)

I completely forgot that I had one more episode of WEDNESDAY Season 2 to watch, so I finished the season today.

As you can probably tell, I didn't love it. The whole thing had the feel of a contractual obligation. (1/4)
