Here’s why that’s a problem.👇

An estimated 1 in 3 eligible CA voters don’t have US passports & many more don’t have a valid passport or birth certificate that matches their current name.

California already verifies citizenship by matching a driver’s license or Social Security Number to government databases. CA Real IDs could NOT be used as proof of citizenship. ❌ Only US passports OR photo ID & a birth certificate.
