I’m running in the Baltimore Running Festival with my brother tomorrow and he just asked me what my playlist looks like. Brother, same as any road race.
I realized a while back I am functionally incapable of doing those types of things digitally. That’s when I need different piles of things physically printed out in front of me, which I can label with post-its and such.
I wound up at my mom’s watching UM-Louisville instead. Miami hadn’t been on my radar before that, but damn sure was after. It’s not a stretch to say I’d have never met some of my best friends—the best man in my wedding, or been best man in another’s—were it not for Hester’s kick returns. (2/2)
Hester is tonight’s honorary captain for Miami. Takes me back to Thursday night in 2004, was the night before a big game for my HS team, and there was also a house party in town that night. Our captains told us if any of us went it’d be a big problem. (1/2)
