I have an idea for another part as well, and then maybe another one? We will see!

him comfort. But he couldn't, it would be very inapriopriate of him. "Don't worry." When Hua Cheng's expression hadn't changed, he sighed and tried again. "Please? ... San Lang?"

Hearing the name, Hua Cheng suddenly looked up and smiled brightly, causing Xie Lian's poor heart+
But I must apologize," Hua Cheng looked down, clearly angry with himself. "I didn't think about it... that way. I would never forgive myself if I caused Xie-laoshi any trouble."

Xie Lian looked at him, biting his lower lip. His hand itched to reach out and touch him, to bring+
his temples. His heart definitely hurt now.

With his eyes closed, Xie Lian failed to notice the faint blush rising on Hua Cheng's cheeks. "No, no!" the youth reassured him. "Please don't worry about it, Xie-laoshi. People paid us no mind, and there weren't many of them anyway.+
moment of his weakness!

"Did anyone... see us? You know the rules, professors can't date their students. I know you wanted to help, but people could have interpreted it their own way... You know, seeing their friend go to their professor's house..." Xie Lian sighed, rubbing+
was gripping Xie Lian's bedsheet and was using so much force that his knuckles turned white. "When you saw me, you asked me for help. In short."

Xie Lian's heart dropped. As much as he didn't care about his future, he couldn't allow Hua Cheng to destroy his own because of a+
student's concern for him - made Xie Lian feel oddly light-headed, he decided to ignore it. And the pounding of his heart too.

Hua Cheng continued, "When I reached the classroom, you were there, leaning against the wall and looking so much in pain," he said, unaware that he+
"Xie-laoshi doesn't remember?"

Xie Lian shook his head.

"I wanted to make sure you were feeling better, Xie-laoshi. I went to your classroom to check on you..." Hua Cheng explained, all the while maintaing eye contact with him. If this - and his+
maybe it was yet another wave of fever...

Xie Lian cleared his throat, finally looking at Hua Cheng. "So... first, I want to thank you for your help. But... how did you end up here, exactly?"

Hearing this, Hua Cheng appeared concerned, drawing his brows together in worry.
knew he had dreamed about it just now, too. He felt utterly conflicted.

He didn't want to call him Hua Cheng - he didn't want to do anything against his favorite student's will - but just the mere thought of using 'San Lang' made him feel so flustered and warm all over. Or+
for obvious reasons. But since we are alone..."

Xie Lian looked away, flustered, pretending to look at his phone.

Truth be told, he didn't remember much of what had happened after his last class, yet his student's petname sounded so easy to say out loud without thinking. He+
needn't worry about it. It was me who asked you to use that name," he replied nonchalantly, leaving Xie Lian even more confused.

"I... did?"

Hua Cheng nodded. "I don't like my name," he shrugged. "I couldn't ask you to call me like that during class, Xie-laoshi+
"Oh my god, Hua Cheng, I'm so sorry. I don't even know where the name came from, not to mention such familiarity... How unprofessional of me! I'm so embarrassed!" he cried.

But to his surprise, Hua Cheng didn't look offended. Instead... he seemed quite pleased?

"Xie-laoshi+
are you doing here?" Xie Lian asked in lieu of an answer, rubbing his eyes. His head still hurt, so it took him a moment before his words sank in, making him realize what he had just said.

/San Lang?/

Clasping his hand over his mouth, Xie Lian bowed his head in an apology.
PART 2 (a bit longer than the previous one!)

It wasn't long before Hua Cheng blinked his single eye open, almost as if he had sensed Xie Lian's intense gaze on himself. When he looked up, their eyes met, and the youth smiled. "Xie-laoshi, how are you feeling?"

"San Lang, what+

Xie Lian was obviously forced by his father not only to lie to Hua Cheng about who the father of his child was, but also to marry Jun Wu. However, before the marriage took place, Xie Lian ran away to Hua Cheng and confessed+
he knew he would love with all his heart.

But when they met, Xie Lian confessed that the child wasn't Hua Cheng's, but Jun Wu's - his father's business partner, who had always been interested in Xie Lian and tried to win him over. Which he succeeded in doing, because they were+
the news of their only heir and his pregnancy spread.

Connecting the dots, Hua Cheng quickly realized why Xie Lian had suddenly changed his attitude towards him, thus, he wanted to confront the news with him and assure him that he would take responsibility for the child+
during which - totally accidentally - a new life had been conceived. However, before Hua Cheng could hear the news, Xie Lian suddenly reduced their meetings to a minimum until they eventually stopped altogether.
