In my city, back in the 70s, the government hired a demolition company to demolish heritage buildings at midnight, with no notification other than asking the police to block the roads a couple of hours earlier.
So, yeah, I doubt the bastards did the right thing.

Renters are required to ask permission before making any changes. A court* would order him to return the premises to the original condition at his own expense.
*by court, I mean the legal system that favors landlords, not the one that favors fascists.

I knew someone who left her job in this job agency to work for $20k less in a Centrelink call centre, and was happier for it.
Her weekly meetings with the boss started with "how much money did you make for me today?" That was 20 years ago. I can't imagine it is any better now.

I think a lot of the public safety cases will have multiple sources, even if they're just dashcam or wobbly phones, & there'll be shocked witnesses.

The two we've described aren't public safety.
"Don't go to the toilet,
don't let your baby crawl out of a window".

My phone commits so many spelling atrocities on my behalf that I don't even see them on screen anymore, unless they've rendered the meaning incomprehensible.

When I studied journalism, I learnt that we must verify using two independent sources.

So with the prevalence of A I slop, we must find out exactly who was involved, including the camera operator, how did they get that shot, & where and when did it happen. Otherwise, default position, it's fake.

As always, "why were they filming". I saw a similar one with a man using the toilet and a dear crashes through his window being chased by a bear. Why is there a camera filming the bathroom/toilet? Why is it centre of frame? This AI nonsense is just stupid at this point, and I'm sick of the slop.

Today I've seen two different videos where man walking down a street catches a baby falling from an upper story. In each, the man was centre of frame and in focus. There were no other people around.

When you see something like this, ask yourself how likely is this. (Answer, not very.)

It's one thing for an anonymous person to create an AI video of Trump, wearing a crown, flying a plane called King Trump, dumping a brown sludge on a protest march.

It's completely unacceptable for a president to post it on his official account.
