Says a lot about society people go to movies to see a long walk. Why not go outside and take a long walk you can do it for real? Leaves are falling and grandmas on benches it’s nice but go to the movies I guess.

I remember finding about time zones in first grade when we asked our teacher about how Nickelodeon or some kids channels would say “8:30/7:30 central”. There was a kid from California in our class and we made fun of him saying “you don’t get cartoons” because he was from PST.

I always liked in Fahrenheit 451 where Montag starts talking more to the neighbor girl who has her antiquated family, then goes home to his horrible wife like “hey I heard about this crazy think where we turn off the tv and talk to each other. Pretty crazy, right? Might be fun.”

they may be in the same boat of struggling medically or financially, but they refuse to put two and two together onto what causes that and the kind of people who you can't put your faith in. quality of life comes second to reveling in the culture war bullshit and how fun the cruelness is
