University of Cincinnati is hiring tenure-track in Games and Animation this cycle. I'm search committee chair and can answer any questions related to the position. Our program is intensive, studio-based, and collaborative, and we welcome industry folks who have MAs/MFAs!

I thought it had some pretty good concepts and settings but the execution was all over the place making it hard to enjoy what I found novel in the first place
anytime I see someone using a swearword that they censor themselves online through asterisks, it's always either a boomer or early gen-X, and I think that's fun.
There is less than 5 minutes of video posted for this project and I am already pumped for it @moonkowski.bsky.social really DID THAT.

I just love going to a coffee shop to work and immediately turning on a lo-fi coffee shop ambient music and sound playlist to really get the vibe going.
Well SOMEBODY around here's gotta be
this is the funniest thing I've seen on this app yet.

considering purchasing merch from my local masonic organizations, because a) it exists, and b) I think it would be a fun bit. yay or nay?

In case it needs restating, autism isn't caused by Tylenol, or vaccines, or woke parents or whatever. It's not a disease, and it doesn't need curing. Eugenicists and fascists love to think of ways to eradicate us because they are unwilling to understand us. But we will outlive them.

PS if anyone wants to hear more about my connections between spirit photography/ectoplasm and generative AI, invite me as a visiting artist to your school (I’m up for reappointment this semester help an early career academic out) — I swear I’m a good public speaker!
I’ve taken up common placing as a research practice. I find it’s helping me by creating a much more tactile approach to the texts I consume. I’m starting to see my research as having a materiality that I am getting my hands dirty with, manipulating it like an artist does with any other material.
I love the teams group chat enough that I’m considering migrating away from Canvas as a result 😭😭😭
The following is A Joke™️:
This feels pointed directly at me.
Thank you, that was A Joke™️
there's no reason to believe they'd keep the twist ending as is, even if the remake actually makes it out of development hell. what would be the point of that? it's so iconic, it would be expected. i'm not holding my breath they'd keep it.
I misspelled "I'm sick" as "I'm sic" so now I'm finally embodying the walking grammatical error I've always been.

Today I'd like you to imagine a world we get to delight in fat androgyny. Androgynous doesn't have to mean "stick".
sometimes, I love researching contemporary spiritualist/ghost hunting technology and comparing it to historic forms. other times I'm reminded that 98% of this world is grifting.
UPDATE: I watched the first 35 seconds of it and it's a powerpoint slideshow with AI-generated voice and that's it.
YouTube's AI slop is a major MAJOR problem, but also kind of hilarious sometimes.
