I already like this place. Reminds me of old Twitter
While this film may not reach the heights of Richard Linklater's career, it might be Ethan Hawke's best performance. It proves the duo hasn't lost a bit of their power after eight collaborations.

Review: “Blue Moon” Proves the Linklater/Hawke Combo Has Still Got It

Review: “The Lost Bus” is Too Exhausting to Be Thrilling
The frenetic stylings of director Paul Greengrass can elevate otherwise spiritless material. But what happens when the director tackles something already cackling (no pun intended) with energy? In …

One of my bigger takes: Wolf of Wall Street is not a great film, and Leo does nothing more than what Jim Carrey does in Liar Liar
One Battle After Another is great if you love Sean Penn, and is also great if you hate Sean Penn
A reminder that Aaron Sorkin is not a good director and I have zero hope he will figure it out this time around

Let's finish up Oscar Blindspots for 1975!

1975 is considered one of the best Oscar lineups in history, but some of those below-the-line contenders deserve some attention (while others decidedly don't).

1975 Oscar Blindspots continue with 80% of the Best Actress lineup!

All four deserve their numerous accolades, despite their films not reaching the award highs of their individual performances.

People who are fucked up over the close-up shooting video must have had a normal adolescence and weren't watching Rotten.com and beheading videos like I did.

I don't think this is a good thing.
We need gun control
The amount of my family members who encourage everyone to let people be, and then proceed to very much not let people be, is truly staggering.

Literally, just leave people the fuck alone. It's not that hard
Truthfully, I believe they compartmentalize their own beliefs just to do the work.

They think they aren't taking a stance on anything, which very clearly sides with one over the other

They're all chickenshits
