I'm done with X. Unless you pay, you can't write much more than a sentence. I always run out of characters before I can get out what I want to say. Succinct isn't in my dictionary or my psyche. 😂

After struggling along for 12 months I finally gave up the ghost earlier this year but it seems it's possible it might have been our internet speed was too slow. Time will tell. 🤞

No one to complain to really, just one of those things. It did go to prove just how heavily we rely on the internet now. It's like losing your right arm when we get cut off.

Well I say. I've just done most of a whole post on Wordpress without issue 🥳 How amazing. Hope it stays that way and wasn't just a lucky fluke. I shall finish it off tomorrow, see what happens. Eeeek, excited.
Using Blogger is like going back in time.

Hmm. Well it was a more productive and less stressful day than yesterday. But what a performance with the Alexa stuff. And only we could have our connection day yesterday on the day Vodafone had a melt down. 🙄
I began to wonder, is it Monday or Friday (13th)

Why can't football supporters just watch the goddam match and shut it with the drumming and the annoying so called singing. I'm off up the stairs, get that PC booted up.

Well it has been the busy tech day I anticipated. I should know that network password like the back of my hand by now (I don't). Those pesky Alexa devices, what a faff.
Last stop, my PC. And then give WordPress a go, see if it's any better.🤞

The Silent Treatment by Abbie Greaves is an emotional book. It didn't quite make me cry but I loved it nevertheless. A very sad story.

1p Broadband. The *only* Internet Service provider we've ever had, and there's been a good few over the years, who has actually asked us to return their crappy router. And it is the crappiest one, we didn't even use it, used our old Vodafone one. 1p pinchers. 🙄 Pathetic!

Oooh, I've just been on my old WP blog. All the pictures loaded. Could it be that it was my old slow internet that made me abandon it after all? 🤔 Not been on the editor as yet but cautiously optimistic.🤞
I really don't like blogspot, very laborious. ☹️

That's good. I often get caught out in phone queues, mid-flow cursing their annoying 'music'. So they answer the call to my dulcet tones of 🤬🤬🤭

Bargain hunter. And quite right too. Enjoy. 😀

Ooop, looks like we're cooking on gas. I bring you this from my phone connected to wi-fi. Yay! 🥳
Good morning. So it's going to be a technical day as I change settings on countless devices.

Ugh. Wishing we'd never changed ISP now. This is frustrating in the extreme. My husband has got his phone connected to the elusive internet but mine won't and neither will a lap top. How does that even work? Especially when his says 'no internet' but works!

So with no Broadband looks like I'm going to have to desperately resort to watching cheery old Corrie. OMG I am sooooo fed up, everything we do goes bloody wrong!!!!!!!
natterblog.bsky.social
Only we could have new broadband installed on the day they have a huge outage. Trying to get any help out of them is a joke. So we currently have no broadband. I am so sick to death of everything handled by stupid chatbots, they're as much use as a chocolate fireguard!
natterblog.bsky.social
Well that went well with broadband installation. We still have no broadband because it's Vodafone and at one point today we had zero internet because both our phones with different mobile providers use Vodafone data, which suffered outages today. See! Nothing goes right. 🤨
natterblog.bsky.social
Fibre broadband installation. "I wonder if that will go right?"
No! Turned up at half 9, did a bit, realised he didn't have something "I'll be back in 20 mins" he said. It's been a lonnggg 20 mins. 🙄 🔍

Yes, it's not good. The flairline has been closed now. Recorded message refers you to GP and GP doesn't really want to know because he says it's hospital that is supposed to be managing it. We'll have to see how things go.
natterblog.bsky.social
Ah that must be difficult. I just seem to have lost a need for sleep. Yes we're finding there's not a lot of support from NHS. He has colitis and we've had to find out most of what we know about it from the internet. Hospital's just "here's some tablets, off you go".
natterblog.bsky.social
I know the feeling. Luckily I don't seem to suffer any ill effect during the day from a lack of sleep. My husband was diagnosed with IBD this year so I appreciate you probably feel exhausted most of the time.
natterblog.bsky.social
What, have you been awake ever since? Ugh that *is* rubbish. That's often about the time I'm going to sleep. 😂. I think that's worse, going to sleep, then waking for hours. Hopefully, you'll certainly sleep tonight.

The Time Is Now by Moloko. One I never hear any more and it's so good. 🎵🎶

No, it's never us. Our son. 3 days. Of disorganised chaos. 🙄
