I finally found 板栗红薯, or Chestnut Sweet Potato, at an Asian supermarket here. It's the same kind that's used for Yaki Imo.

I've been experimenting to get that classic super sweet finish.

200C for 45 minutes didn't break down the sugar enough

160C for 60 minutes? Getting there, but not perfect

had the wildest dream last night that we were fighting an Alien Xenomorph Queen type thing in a snowy tundra style landscape except it had adapted and was camouflaged with a white carapace

all i remember is frantically stamping ice to crack it and get down to a mech suit
