I've been running around with the compass for years! 😭 it really surprised me hahah
I just realized the reflection of the moon in the water shows the three moons 🥹 "in the water the future mirrors the past"
can't believe I'm still finding chests in mondstadt in the year of our lord 2025

Harpy #xiao for #inktober day 6 🥰 there are multiple things I've learned from this one:
1. drawing oval shapes traditionally is pain
2. black backgrounds will kill my pens
3. unfortunately the black background is worth it.....
yep! but the aranara knew that another golden nara would come to save them when the marana would get powerful again if I remember correctly 🤔
well at this point I'm just rambling, but I needed to get these thoughts out, specifically about tbe possibility that someone has been planting all these prophecies throughout the history of teyvat to prepare for a certain descender
it's also how we learn that the voyager and 1st seelie started this sacred heir project, which they called the Seed of Life project but through generations it became legend and prophecy as their society became more religious and traditional than they were before.
I already thought the there were similarities in other aspects with dune, but the breeding plan the frostmoon scions used to have which is so similar to what the bene gesserit do reminded me of it once more.
in case a Bene Gesserit would find herself stranded somewhere, she could fit herself into these prophecies and manipulate the population through that.

now in genshin I feel like all these prophecies would fit any descender that could reach teyvat, and they would quickly become an important figure+
like the nara varuna, the saviour from khaenriah, the sacred heir of nod krai, and more that I'm probably not remembering right now.
and of course the traveler (the chosen one!!) casually fits into all of these, and it sort of helps them in their journey, which was part of what the MP was for,
#genshinlore
having insane thoughts right now about genshin and the bene gesserit from dune...

The Missionaria Protectiva where they spread these superstitions and prophecies in different cultures, makes me think of how there is a legend of the coming of a saviour in different places in teyvat +

can't believe they gave us this ashru
riiight!!
I thought that the abyss could be the resentment or basically the dead body of a super important god, so at first I thought the primordial one, then one of the moon sisters, then nibelung and honestly I think these ideas still have merit!
yesss!
I remember that years ago I thought that maybe all elemental creatures were created by the death of the moons (based on Orobashi's remains creating that resentment and on marchosius turning into all the little guobas), but we barely had any info to go with back then hahah
it was also weird for me when I first read the artifacts cause I thought by fae spirits they meant the seelie 😵‍💫
it says they forged fae spirits upon the bones of giant beasts, so I always read that as if they had somehow mixed them together to create a different type of species, but if fae were related to the moons then they would also be tied to the dragons!
im sorry ive been so genshin-pilled these past week all i can do is think about lore sdfsdfs
It could be that they were trying to create a "race" that were all descender-like, all with the possibility to change fate or smthng like that.. but in skirk's artifacts it says specifically "that they might create a perfect being that could merge with the world" so it sounds singular, but who knows
why would the voyager and the first seelie need to create a being that could merge with the world if they had... the voyager? unless they aren't a descender in the end??? they might have created the 3rd descender tho
but still what does this mean???
#genshinlore

it just clicked in my head that while the frostmoon scions were going on with their program to create a Sacred Heir, the voyager and seelie were already doing something similar before the fall of unified civ.

This all sounds like all the other attempts to create a descender, but... +
