"I-i'm alright, just need some more p-painkillers from my bag..."

She coughed a little as she forced herself to sit up, straining her body as she moved to stand.

It didn't take long for them to go back through and find that last sneaky little coin, clearing the level again in no time with their treasure in hand.

"Th-there we go, haha... No one can stop us... Ngh..."

It had been a decent while now, and it sounded like the pain was starting to kick back in.

"Oop, looks like we missed one of the coins, we can't very well claim to be treasure hunters if we're missing them on the first level can we?~"

She'd joke as she looked over at Sayori, giving her a big ol' grin, they were usually pretty rare from her, but Sayori had a way of yanking them right out.

She'd hop on her Yoshi's back, letting her carry her for a bit.

"Sounds like a plan, I'll let you know once I've found somewhere fitting~"

"Ehe, well if you wanna find the treasure that somebody hadn't already claimed, you gotta be willing to go where most people won't wanna look y'know~"

Oops, she accidentally fell off the ledge and lost a life, getting a bit distracted by the conversation.

She wouldn't be able to bring along her golems like she usually did, but she imagined it would probably be okay.

"Hmm, yeah that should be alright. I'll just have to make sure I don't take you anywhere too dangerous. And yeah I've found a few cool things, be it pretty or even kinda crrrreeeepy~"

"Yeah that's fine with me, maybe you can teach me some tricks~"

She smiled, watching as Sayori looked at her shelf, mostly it was RPGs that she seemed to have, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem and Dragon Quest as far the switch line up seemed to be concerned, and of course the aforementioned titles too.

"Thanks"

She laid back, before pointing to the shelf on the side.

"In terms of what we could play together, Mario kart, Smash Brothers or if you wanted to work together. Maybe Mario Wonder?. Though I haven't played much of that one"

"Y-yeah, I already took my meds before, so I'll be alright as long as I lay down while we play"

She gave Sayori's arm a little tap, gesturing for her to release the hug.

"Oh of course, for now though, did you wanna stay a while? Not too sure about your hobbies, but I've got some consoles if you're into games"

She pants a little as she speaks, not exactly having rested since she'd intended to.

She gave Sayori's hair a little ruffle.

"Thanks, even if I don't have an immediate answer, it does help to be able to talk about it all like this, not quite getting it off my chest, but at least lightening the load a little"

She looked back at Sayori, giving her a smile.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't do anything that could get me killed, I know my body's limits better than anyone"

Though she didn't promise not to get her hands dirty if the need arose, she wasn't trying to act the saint.

"Not in a while... I did back when it first happened, but... I ran into a dead end... I even tried asking a detective to look into things, but... It didn't work, there wasn't anything left at the scene that could prove either way..."

She glanced over at her desk, before shaking her head.

"I hope so... I just can't see her as being clumsy enough to fall by accident... And if I ever found she was murdered, I don't know what I'd do to the culprit so...

It's easiest if I just blame myself..."

She wiped her face on Sayori's shoulder, before sitting up properly, trying to relax again.
