[ #gameyear25 Nr. 17 Suika]
Unsure if I can add this to the list! X'D Suika is easy to learn but hard to master and SO ADDICTING?! I played several hours already despite starting it last week!
I am still bad at this, but I have so much fun and it's relaxing AND CUTE! What else do I want?
Score: 8/10
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 16 First Time in Rome]
I was sick and wanted some "Find this" game, so I bought it. I wasn't disappointed, because it was just the right thing I was looking for! If you don't enjoy these kind of games, it wouldn't suit your tastes, though.
Score: 7/10
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 15 A Short Hike]
What a hidden GEM? You are a bird visiting your aunt working in a park. Of course you want some smartphone reception but in order to get one, you have to climb the mountain!
It is so sweet, so fun, so cool - I enjoyed it so much I couldn't lay it down!
Score: 9/10
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 14 Naiad]
Score: 6/10
I am down on my knees because of the mesmerizing graphics! Other than that, I wished this game gave you more directions and the controls weren't so fickly (looking at you, frogs!!!). Overall I had a lot of fun with this short game!
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 13 It Takes Two]
The same studio as Split Fiction and also a co-op game! You have to rescue the marriage of Cody and May who were turned into clay figures their daughter Rosie crafted. This game is hilarious and serious at the same time and it was a DELIGHT to play it!
Score: 9/10
At the beginning of the year I wanted to draw an ACEO for each game I finished/ completed... Maybe I can at least draw one or two to remember this gaming year?
(That said I still have more than 10 games in the pipeline to post! X'D)
I played so many amazing games this year! I love this hobby so so much - you can experience so many different worlds and fates while sitting on your couch! ;u;) <3
I am so glad that I am able to play so many games (even though I wish I had more time to do so! X'D)
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 12 Letters - A Written Adventure]
Score: 8/10
This game is a love letter to letters and any written story. It was so much fun to experience this quite different game finding words and taking care of a torn family. I was honestly amazed with all the ideas they came up with!
that they are trapped into all of their different stories. Zoe loves to write fantasy stories, whereas Mio writes science fiction stories. It is a magical, unforgettable journey (and due to AI more topical than ever!) - we played until 4 AM because we couldn't stop playing this one-of-a-kind game!
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 11 Split Fiction]
Score: 10/10
This is my Game of the Year and easily one of the best games I've ever played. You play co-op (couch or online). Mio and Zoe are both aspring writers and thanks to a new machine, their stories can become reality - but an accident happens [1/2]
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 10 Core Keeper]
Score: 10/10
This is THE game my better half and I play together and always love coming back! It gives you nearly endless possibilities - uncovering the map, fighting, farming, decorating and building your base... it is SO MUCH FUN! We played over 100 hours!
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 9 Venba]
Score: 9/10
Venba beautifully tells a story about an Indian family in the USA and how to be torn between the cultural differences. It is told through dishes you cook and what can I say? It had me glued to the screen (and hungry). It is a great hidden small gem!
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 8 Cat Quest]
Score: 8/10
I LOVE Cat Quest, its silly puns, the overarching story, the battles, the graphics... I always have a blast playing this game - I was only sad that I wasn't able to play on multiplayer like the second and third installment of this purrfect series!
quite the different gameplay and so relaxing that I often fell asleep! X'D There is some real shitstorm found online for this game that she only "uses" her friend to help her, but I don't think this game is that deep/ is intending to show that. Overall an okay-ish game which gladly isn't too long.
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 7 The Magnificent Trufflepigs]
Score: 4/10
You are a woman and a good friend equipped with a metal detector searching for hidden "treasures" on the fields of the family. So this is all you do: Searching endless fields just to get some phone calls from your friend. It was
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 6 When The Past Was Around]
Score: 9/10
This game is about the loss of a loved one and how to deal with all the emotions boiling within. This game is beautifully told, as an overarching theme (music) and made me cry more than once! ;O;) <3 A small, hidden gem.
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 5 What Comes After]
Score: 6/10
A 1-hour-long game about a girl going to the afterworld, wondering "what comes after" (life). It is melancholic and serious, but has some heartfelt dialogues. I won't post as many screenshots because of its length!
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 4 Teacup]
A small frog girl searching for ingredients for her tea party. It is as cute as you can imagine and I felt relaxed and happy playing it! The riddles were perfect, just the map felt a bit clunky and I wished it was longer! ;u;) <3 A really cozy game!
Score: 7/10
[ #gameyear25 Nr. 3 Tiny Lands]
Score: 8/10
I LOVE games where you have to find things or differences, so I had a BLAST playing Tiny Lands with its beautifully crafted dioramas! They were adorable and a feast for the eyes - I enjoyed all the different "worlds"/ themes!

[ #gameyear25 Nr. 1 + 2 Ace Attorney Chronicles 1 + 2]
Score: 8/10
I adore the Ace Attorney Series and I was delighted to see the "ancestor"! The story unfolds very slowly, but it is worth it! I have to admit that I liked the Chronicles more than the original game series! #aceattorney #switch
