Not that I know. As Joe McCarthy's aid, Roy Cohn was his staffer who 'found' names/organizations for the Committee on Un-American Activities. McCarthy's career finally crashed but Cohn became a rich NYC lawyer, taking on a young Trump as a client. See the movie 'Angels over America'.

This morning, I checked the Lego website and they have retired the White House kit. You can still buy an Empire State Building or a Statue of Liberty.

Yes, those are the decades of my childhood and college. My dad finished our basement with nice wood paneling and brown and tan asbestos tiles glued to the concrete floor.

That is a great point to make. Given the age of this wing, I wonder if there is/was asbestos or lead paint? Having rehabed a 90 year old house, we had to safely deal with these problems.

Notice how there is no scaffolding or sports or tarps to protect THE REST of the building. Not to mention the interior: no lighting fixtures, oak doors, good paneling saved! This is demolition like a tenement in NYC
