As far as I know this is never explained, you just select the shop option on the menu and are teleported to the magical place where you can level grind

OK one more fun fact

There is a fighting mechanic with level ups that can effect heart levels.

The problem? It's a VN, so the only fights are story-related and linear.

The solution? There is a completely separate, out-of-place menu for grinding that takes 10 business minutes to load
