It could be good, I'm not using it tho, and just saving on my drive but I'm going to start encrypting important files (on my drives)
This bit was a bit easier to do for me because I always disabled those, the idea of my files and pictures being ~somewhere out there~ always irked me

It’s almost like the capitalist ruling class are literally extracting surplus value from the workers. Gosh, how I wished more working class people were class conscious. 😭

Karl Marx referred to this as "surplus value" — the unpaid labour that workers create but never receive the full value for.

I'm slowly doing that too, disabled all cloud automatic file saving for files and pictures, and keeping it all on drives, got Proton mail instead of Gmail, still working on everything else but it's going

Me too! It's facing north, but I'm on the last floor of this apartment building so the heat moves up to my apartment. Usually I can push it till early November.
