Today’s horror movie was a personal favorite- Trick ‘r Treat. This anthology style film has five related stories, with some interesting twists and great acting. Add in a new Halloween character in Samhain, and you have a winner. This is a high recommendation if you’ve never seen it.

Hegseth made a big deal about returning the military to a specific time- 1990. It might seem random, or odd - it’s not. In 1991, the Tailhook scandal shed light to the extreme sexual assault that was commonplace in the military. Petey picked the prior year because him and his rapist buddies miss it.

Besides, the credits aren’t long, since this 73 minute movie had an extremely small group by Hollywood standards. It’s not going to leave you terrified, and the ending is a tad muddled, but it’s worth it to see this amazingly cute pouch do his thing. 3/3

His name is Indy, both in and out of the movie, and he is really fun to watch. There’s an end credit bit that explains how they worked with him to get such a believable performance, and it’s worth staying to watch. 2/3

Today’s horror movie just hit - Good Boy. This is an interesting flick - the plot is middling, and it’s not super gory or even particularly scary in any traditional sense. But it’s told entirely from the dogs perspective, and that dog is a compelling actor. 1/3
