considering keeping my first-arc antagonist alive to serve as a greater rival throughout the whole story, however this would mean sacrificing the woundfucking

think i'm properly settling into bsky now. dodging politics and staying within a relatively small sphere has definitely made the experience a lot more enjoyable than i initially thought. i do miss my long character limit though. let me post microfiction like i do on tumblr!!

i don't blame you, ramiel and arael are some of my top picks as well, i don't like the rebuilds that much but they DEFINITELY did my octahedral wife justice. i like unit 01 for pred/prey reasons :)

instead of the more conventional and objectively more efficient rapier engine, this craft uses whiplash & wolfhound engines (hence the name)
i love rapiers but this was a fun design challenge even if it's still a bit annoying to fly in some ways

Pilot with neural port who's spent so much time connected to her mech and has survived so many sorties (and suffered so much neurological damage) that she believes her mech is her Big Sister, and that "She" guides and protects her. Pilot becomes distressed when away from "Big Sister" for too long.
