My typewriter class 36 years ago taught me 3 spaces at the end of every sentence.

I was probably in my early 40's when I adjusted to 2 spaces and it felt WRONG.

Late 40's I shifted again, that one was less painful.

Best discussion on the disc golf course today was trying to remember what mammal has square scat.

It was fun, and took my mind off a +4 hole that I just wish I could take back.

(We figured it out. Fun fact, there is some movie out there where the mammal in question is a plot point).

One of them - the worst person by far as an adult - repeatedly told me, 'Charles, you are too smart for us, why do you hang out with us?' The short version is they accepted me.

I was always searching for acceptance.

I don't know if I'm smarter. But I think my emotional IQ is a bit higher.

I had a friend group junior-senior year that went on to be terrible people.

I found them on Facebook years later. I friended them. I soon unfriended them.

Best decision I ever made.

However, I haven't actually painted a model in (carry the 1) 33 years.

So I wanted to start with the Necrons - a group I might field temporarily, but more importantly to give me a place to make mistakes.

Side note - I was introduced to AI at an industry event in 2023. Same feeling of Kool Aid drinking. I bought in initially too.

Then I used it a few times.

It took me a little bit, but it wasn't hard to see how far it had to come to be actually helpful.

And then they sink more money into it.

I am starting to fear they are at the fake it til we make it part of the program and are unwilling to see the end game.

Today I named the file 'Weekend of line'.

Weekend is obv, it's Friday and it is something to look forward to.

End of line? Maybe less obv.

But I do love my Tron references.

Mashing them together just felt right.
