As a person who enjoys language, I like learning about slang. I rarely use most terms (except to be an annoying parent), but I like knowing what the words mean and where they came from. Six-seven is really annoying and silly.

I think the six-seven is uniquely annoying because it is completely nonsensical. I like useful slang, like “mid.” 🤣

AI hack: to minimize the number of picky-ass edits Copilot gives me, I included in the prompt “it’s okay to say it’s perfect and doesn’t need changes.” The recommendation is essentially, “I loved it. It was much better than Cats!”

While it’s great to see suburban communities organizing #NoKings events, I wonder if having 40+ smaller events is diluting the impact of one really huge event in the adjacent major city. I can see that smaller local events would draw in folks who would be reluctant to go “downtown,” tho.

For many of us, if we would like to keep our jobs, we have to try to use Gen AI. But if we’re successful using Gen AI, it will eventually cost us our jobs. No win.
