💜 What awful news to have to share 💜 Thank you for being a wonderful friend and Wordfeud opponent. Thank you for gathering such a fantastic group of people via the likes of Twanta and the TweetUps. Please continue to write and make the most of every day. #FuckCancer
My first TweetUp at the YSP in 2014 I think. I was so nervous meeting people who I’d only ever interacted with virtually, but Wombat really does attract such a wonderful crowd of people, the occasion and the people were such a delight. THANK YOU
I concur with so much that has already been said! You have blessed us with 15 years of #Twanta, which I’m sure is many more than you envisaged when you first started it. It has also spawned its own vocabulary, for which we are grateful. Thanks for all the fun & new friendships. #FuckCancer
But on the whole they do get caught. It also shows how much of a toll it takes on the contestants who are chosen as traitors to act as such. I’m not going to try to persuade you to watch it, but it’s not as bad as you might think.
Personally I find it ok to watch as the traitor behaviour is very much something that feels very self-contained within the participants and the location of the game. To me, in effect, it’s a board game that’s played in long form over a couple of weeks.
