It’s disheartening when men over 50 who’ve lived through decades of experience, relationships & growth still reduce women to body parts and call it humor. There’s a difference between lightheartedness & immaturity, and when jokes never evolve beyond “titties,” it shows a kind of emotional stagnation

I've been rather focused on myself lately thanks to that thing called life. Here is a reminder for y’all. You're awesome, we believe in you, and we're happy you exist. ✌🏻❤️

Here's my unsolicited advice to those who want to decorate for a holiday months before the actual holiday, DO IT! If it makes you happy, do it! Ignore those who feel the need to judge. I had a fake Xmas tree that I kept up all year, in San Diego because it made me happy. Live your life for YOU. 💙🌲

My oldest’s journey coming out as trans has taken time. But it made me see things that happened when she was younger in a new light. Kids can most certainly know.

I don't know exactly what any of you have gone through. But I know heartbreak and loss. And I wish for you all to find more light and peace amongst the dark and aching days ahead.

You may feel worn down by the world, Feel like you're flailing your way from one thing to the next. But don't forget .... there is something extraordinary about you.

Music soothes are souls as well as excites the senses. I can't imagine life without it.

The album I always played on those trips was her second, the self-titled album. Thinking about those songs gives me goosebumps again.

Indeed, she can! A six month stretch many years ago I'd drive every Monday morning four hours out to a job site. This album, along with ones from Sheryl Crow and Shawn Colvin, was played every trip out.

I love this entire album. Good reminder that I need to listen to it again.

I’m happy my state’s governor signed an Executive Order to make the COVID vaccine more readily available to anyone that wanted it, so my kids and I got it today.

I hope you are always accepted for who you are with gratitude and grace.
