The demon cat supposedly lurks the basements of the buildings and appears as either a black or tabby cat. When it's first seen it appears to be a normal size cat, but when alerted it turns into a cat the "size of a giant tiger." Now that's my kind of ghost story!

The Curious Case of the D.C. Demon Cat 🐈‍⬛ This piece is inspired by a true story of a ghost cat that was said to haunt the White House and U.S. Capitol Building. The sightings started in the mid-1800s and continued through the 1940s, often occurring before a major event or tragedy.

Fur Wray, 2025 🎥 Only a matter of time before I added Fay Wray, the original "Scream Queen," to my Glamour Puss series of old Hollywood stars. Wray has over 100 credits to her name, and is most remembered today for her role as Ann Darrow in the 1933 classic, King Kong.
