did you not see the "closed for cleaning" sign on this litter box? I'm kinda in the middle of scooping it. You have three (3) other boxes you could use, one of which I already cleaned. You don't need to poop on the scoop.

Sometimes it was stupid things. My college roommate's family was from Norway. They had to spend thousands of dollars to get their sur names changed back to they way the family spells it in Norway, which was just with ss instead of s in the middle.

I am my mother's primary caregiver.
I'm also on jury duty this coming week.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand if I get to sit on a jury I'll have the perfect excuse to pawn off some of my duties to my brother. On the other the jury system is bureaucratic hell

This is what it means when we say "diversity is our strength"

You really don't know how much you rely on your short term memory until you have to substitute for someone else's.

Mom lost her wallet 4 times today and we didn't even leave the house. I found it in the same place every time.

My mom tells me the same story multiple times in a day, but forgets to tell me that she scheduled a lawn service or an outing with a friend.
Or better yet, she goes on a shopping spree on Amazon then calls to cancel her bank card because there are charges she doesn't remember making.
