Had a boss like that once. Thank god no life and death stuff was on the line, because he was a fucking jackass who would just blather out the content of sensitive work related discussions, and mass-forward emails clearly marked DO NOT DISTRIBUTE.

Must be a nightmare maintaining OpSec around Trump.

That's what I'm most worried about. Some false flag shithead throwing a rock or a frozen water bottle and setting off a riot. Some ex cop dressed in black bloc smashing store windows (like actually happened during the BLM protest).

I read a quote from King years ago: "I prefer to horrify. If I can't manage that, I'll try to terrify. And if I can't manage that, I'm not proud, I'll go for the gross-out". 🤣

But yeah, he's a master. I wish he'd write mainstream fiction; his greatest strength is getting in his characters' heads.

It's funny, I love the study of cosmology but it also makes me crazy, because what we don't know about the universe dwarfs what we do know. Dark Matter makes up 85% of the universe's total mass, and we don't even know WTF it is! 😂

It's funny, that scene obviously produced a very visceral reaction with audiences. I almost burst out laughing because the scene in the book is so much more horrific and graphic. She uses an *axe* to cut off his feet, and King really graphically described it in a way that almost made me pass out. 🤣
