July’s Reading Wrap-Up: #TheLangoliers made me want to rewatch the film. Looking back Bronson Pinchot deserved an award for his performance as Craig Toomey - Balki can act!
Here’s what I read last month. #TheLongWalk and #BetweenTwoFires definitely stuck with me the most, but I’m also glad I finished #TheHandmaid’sTale in the appropriate month of June lol.
#Gamesky Confession: I’m playing #FinalFantasyTactics for more than an hour the very first time. I recently beat FFTA & A2 so figured it was time to play what so many call the best #SRPG of all time.
I’m also tracking my progress with #RetroAchievements so feel free to follow or share some tips.
#GameSky: I’m two hours into this and I’ve spent 90 minutes backtracking and haven’t encountered a single Slime.
So many people swear this is their favorite #JRPG, but maybe you had to have been there? It’s like how #Morrowind is my favorite TES but I don’t expect #Skyrim players to understand…
Crazy that I call myself a King fan yet never heard of The Long Walk until I saw the trailer for the film last week before “Sinners” (incredible btw). Really excited to dive into that one especially.
Decided to finally read #TheTower series in its entirety and loved how wild and meta it got by the fifth book. I knew there would be callbacks to King’s work, but wasn’t expecting one to #OnWriting.
Ten years ago it was totally not weird to solicit feet pics from children as long as you worked for #Nickelodeon.
I mean, it totally was weird regardless but we let it slide kinda like how we still let Jared Leto creep on teens, run his cult and star in major motion pictures.
Just started the latest season of #TheHandmaid’sTale on #Hulu and I’m sorry but there is zero chance little miss war criminal would have made it off that packed train of blood thirsty passengers. 🙄
Can’t stop thinking about the 7th season of #BlackMirror.
I laughed; I cried; I cringed.
While my favorite episode will likely forever be “San Junipero,” this overall was the best season imo, and it doesn’t even come close. Paul Giamatti’s episode (euology) _broke_ me
